Route a ticket to Asset Management or Facilities

Send the work to the applet that owns it, and follow its progress.

Updated 31 October 2026

Some work belongs to another applet: a broken projector to Asset Management, a heating fault to Facilities.

  1. On the ticket, choose Route to another applet.
  2. Choose who it goes to: Asset Management, Facilities, Health and Safety or Directory management (simulated).
  3. Write the Summary they may see. It starts as the ticket's title.
  4. Optionally add an Action code, such as repair_or_replace.
  5. Choose Route it. They are told.

Following it

Their progress shows in With other applets on the ticket and in News from other applets on Home. Choose Mark their news read once you have seen it, or Withdraw if it is no longer needed. Cancelling the ticket withdraws it; closing the ticket closes it.

Health and Safety can be chosen now; its requests wait until that applet is running. A referral to directory management is recorded and labelled as simulated: no access is granted, and the requester is never told it was.
