The sandbox and the Demo menu

The sandbox is a copy of every Core application with fictional people and records. It is reset every night, so try anything you like.

How to tell you are in it

• The bar shows Sandbox in its middle.
• Core home shows the notice: You are using the shared demo login.
• Application cards and the Applications menu mark each one Sandbox.

View an application as another role

Signed in with the shared demo login, the account menu is labelled Demo, with the role you hold now beside it.

1. Open the application you want to try.
2. Open the Demo menu in the bar.
3. Under View application as, choose a role. The one you hold now is marked.
4. The page reloads, and the application opens at that level.

The choice lasts until you sign out. The Demo menu only offers roles for an application that has more than one.

What the demo login cannot do

• It keeps no settings or notification choices. The Light and Dark switch still works.
• It never opens a live application.

To keep settings or use the live applications, choose Create your account in the Demo menu.
