Record attendance and results

For trainers: record who attended, for how long, and whether they passed.

Updated 31 October 2026

Trainers record attendance for the sessions they teach. Training administrators can record it for any session.

Home lists Sessions you teach, from the last fortnight and coming up. A session that has ended shows to record.

Record attendance

  1. Open the session. The Roster lists everyone with a place.
  2. Choose Attendance beside a person.
  3. Enter when they Arrived and Left. Payable minutes (blank: all of it) is usually left blank.
  4. Choose Record attendance, or Did not attend for a no-show.

Record the time each person actually attended, not the session's length. Attendance must fall within the session's day and times, and payable time can be no more than the time attended.

Recorded attendance waits for a training administrator to approve it as paid time. You can record it again until it is approved.

Record a result

For a course that needs a pass, choose Passed or Failed once a person has attended. Attending is not passing: the result is separate. A no-show is never assessed.

When a credential is issued

A credential is issued once everything the course needs is done:

  • attendance;
  • a pass, if the course is assessed;
  • verified evidence, if the course needs it.

It is valid from the session's date for the course's validity, and the person's readiness is worked out again.
