Every Core application, and Core home itself, has the same bar at the top.
From left to right
- The logo takes you back to the website.
- The application's name says where you are.
- Sandbox appears in the middle when the page is a sandbox: fictional data, reset every night.
- Search everything searches every application you can open on this site. See Search across your applications.
- Help opens this help centre at the application's own page.
- Applications (the grid of four squares) switches to another application. See Switch applications and ask for access.
- The bell shows how many notifications you have not read, and opens Waiting for you in Core home.
- Your account menu shows your initials and first name.
- Light or Dark switches the theme.
The account menu
With an account of your own, the menu holds:
- your name and email address;
- the organisation you work in, or Working in with a button for each organisation if you belong to more than one;
- Core home, and Waiting for you with the number unread;
- My applications, Account settings and Password and sign-in, on your account page;
- Sign out.
Choosing another organisation under Working in reloads the page with that organisation's data. Every application then works in it until you switch again.
