Export
Portfolio Editors and Administrators can download, as the drafts stand:
- Portfolio (JSON): everything, in the format import reads;
- Projects (CSV): a summary of each project;
- Change log (CSV);
- Health findings (CSV).
Import
Portfolio Editors and Administrators can load a file exported earlier. Import replaces every project with the file's.
- Under JSON file, choose the file.
- The file is checked and you see what would change: projects Replaced, Added and Removed (soft-deleted, and kept for the retention period), and whether the portfolio details are replaced. Nothing has changed yet.
- Choose Import and replace, then Import to confirm.
A file with any record missing its reference or name is refused whole. An import is staged like any other change, and reaches the board when published.
Reset (sandbox only)
On the sandbox, the Portfolio Administrator can choose Reset demonstration data, then Reset everything. Every change is discarded and the sample portfolio restored; the change log keeps a record of the reset. Export first if anything is worth keeping.
Current state shows what an export would hold now.
