Getting started with QR Code Manager

What QR Code Manager is for, what each access level can do, and where everything is.

Updated 31 October 2026

QR Code Manager makes QR codes and looks after them once they are printed.

  • A dynamic code holds a short web address that this service answers. You can change where it leads after it is printed, pause it, schedule it or retire it, and see how often its address is visited.
  • A static code holds its content directly: a link, some text, an email address, a phone number, Wi-Fi details or a contact card. It works without the service, but it can never be changed once printed and its scans cannot be counted.

Open it

Open QR Code Manager from the applications menu in the bar at the top, or from Core home. In the sandbox the demo login is an editor, and the Demo menu in the bar lets you see QR Code Manager as another role.

What you see depends on your access level

Your access level shows beside the QR Code Manager title. Tabs it does not include are not shown.

Access levelWhat it gives you
ViewerBrowse, search and inspect codes and campaigns, download images, read analytics, and keep private saved views
EditorAs Viewer, plus create, edit, publish, schedule, pause and archive codes, run campaigns, and share saved views

The menu

  • Codes: every code, with filters, saved views and New code.
  • Campaigns: groups of codes with an owner, planned dates and a shared classification.
  • Analytics: visits to codes' addresses.
  • Classification, Settings and Audit log: for administrators.
