Choose Admin to open the control page. Its menu holds Control page, Change log, Data tools, Portfolio details (Portfolio Editors and Administrators) and Settings.
The control page works on the drafts: everything saved, published or not.
The figures
- Projects managed, with the records and options they hold.
- Unpublished changes, and how many are yours.
- Governance findings, by severity.
- Not updated in 45 days: the number of days comes from the settings.
The governance health check
The health check reads the drafts as at the position date and changes nothing. Findings are ranked by severity (High, Medium, Low), then by project. Fix this opens the record to change. The first 14 are shown; a button such as Show all 20 findings lists the rest. Portfolio Editors and Administrators can choose Export findings (CSV).
It looks for:
| Severity | Finding |
|---|---|
| High | A decision taken with no adequate rationale |
| High | A risk with no owner |
| High | Money spent with no approved budget |
| High | A milestone past its forecast and not complete |
| High | An open question past its needed-by date |
| Medium | A thin mitigation, or a high-severity risk with no next action |
| Medium | A high-severity risk whose score does not match |
| Medium | No update in 45 days, or no dated update at all |
| Medium | A forecast more than 10% over the approved budget |
| Medium | A question without exactly one option marked SELECTED or RECOMMENDED |
| Medium | A benefit that cannot be measured |
| Medium | No milestones, decisions, risks, benefits, stakeholders or updates recorded |
| Medium | A project in delivery with no spend recorded |
| Low | No scope defined |
All projects
The table lists every project with its phase, record count, last update and health: Clean, a number to look at, or a number of high findings. Each row has Edit (or View, if you cannot change it) and Duplicate, and Delete if you can change it.
Recent changes shows the last few changes, with Unpublished on those not yet on the board.
