My record opens when you open HR. It shows what HR holds about you.
At the top
Your name, whether you are Current, Starting or Former, your roles, and your department, location, manager and start date.
Your employment and roles
Each employment is a card with its roles. A role shows its Manager (and a deputy, if there is one), your Contracted hours a week, your working Pattern, and its location and cost centre. Open History to see earlier terms. A change agreed for a later date shows as New terms from that date.
You can hold more than one role, each with its own manager, hours and pattern. See People, employments and roles.
Leave and absence
Your leave balance for the leave year, as figures and a ring:
- Entitlement: the hours your leave policy grants for the year.
- Taken: approved leave.
- Waiting: leave asked for and not yet decided.
- Available: what you can still ask for.
Below it are your absences, under Coming up and Earlier. Ask for time off and Report sickness are here too: see Ask for time off or report sickness.
Reviews and checklist
Reviews lists your reviews and where each one stands. Checklist shows any starter, leaver or return-to-work tasks about you.
From Training and From Payroll
- From Training shows, for each of your roles, whether you are ready for it: Ready, Due soon, Expired, Missing or Pending review. Courses you are booked on show under Booked.
- From Payroll, when Payroll is connected, shows whether you are set up for pay, the Next pay date, when you were Last paid, and how many Payslips you have. Choose My payslips to open them in Payroll.
If your account is not linked
If My record says your account is not linked to an HR record yet, ask an HR administrator to link it. HR links accounts by hand, never by matching an email.
