Submit for review
- On the Review and submit step, choose Submit for review. It is also under What happens next on the version's page.
- Add a Comment if you like, and choose Submit.
The version goes to the first stage of its workflow and is locked while it is reviewed. Which workflow it follows depends on its role family. The stage's approvers are told in Core home and the bell in the bar.
You cannot decide any stage of a version you submitted.
Follow it
On the version's page, the card headed with the workflow's name, such as Workflow: Standard approval, shows each stage, who decides it and its SLA in working days, and when the current stage is due. Decisions lists every step taken, with its comment. Your drafts are also listed under Your drafts on Approvals.
If it is sent back
An approver who sends it back says what needs to change. The version returns to Draft, the comment is under Decisions, and you are told in Core home and the bell. Change the draft and submit it again.
Withdraw it
To change something while it is in review, choose Withdraw to draft, then Withdraw. It goes back to draft so it can be edited.
Discard it
Discard this draft, then Discard, throws away a draft nobody wants. Only the person who started it, or an HR administrator, can. It is kept, read-only, until its purge date.
