Reports and exports

Takings, corrections, VAT and accounting codes for a period, and Excel exports with the columns you choose.

Updated 31 October 2026

Reports and export is for supervisors and administrators. Nothing on it can change a financial record. It opens on the last seven days.

Choose what to report

Set From and To, or choose Today, Last 7 days or All time. Narrow it with Customer, Category, Product or service, Accounting code, Department (Cost Centre) and Payment.

What it shows

  • Gross takings, corrections (refunds and voids), cash against card, and the cash variance across the Z reads in the period.
  • Income by accounting code: net, VAT and gross for each code.
  • Transactions: the same list as the Transactions screen, read-only here.
  • Z reads: sequential session closures.
  • Accounting journal preview.
  • Session register: each session with its Z read and variance.

Export to Excel

Choose an export: Transactions (Excel)…, Accounting journal (Excel)…, Z reads (Excel)…, X reads (Excel)…, Cash movements (Excel)… or Audit trail (Excel)….

  1. Tick the columns you want, or use Select all, Select none, Recommended set or My saved set.
  2. To keep your choice for next time, choose Save as my default.
  3. Choose Export .xlsx.

Amounts are written as numbers, so Excel can add them up. The transactions and journal exports follow the filters on screen; the others follow the dates. Every export is recorded in the audit trail with the columns used.

Full JSON snapshot downloads everything as one file, for a backup or a handover.
