Download
On the code's page, under The code:
- Choose the Format: PNG image, or SVG, for print.
- For a PNG, choose the PNG size, from 256 × 256 to 4096 × 4096 pixels.
- Choose Download.
Every download is scanned automatically first and is offered only if it reads back exactly. Downloads are recorded in the audit log.
Record a phone test
Once you have scanned the image with a phone, editors can choose I scanned this image with a phone and it worked. The code then shows Phone-tested, with who tested it and when.
Print size
Under Print size, type the Printed width, mm, or how far away it will be Scanned from, metres, and choose Work it out. You get the size of each module, the margin, and the distance it should scan from, with a warning if it is too small.
As a rule of thumb, a code scanned from 1 metre away needs to be about 100 mm wide. This is guidance, not a guarantee.
